The music shop is an expensive item that, when used, you may earn Gotchi points from, but may also lose Gotchi points. Given the high cost of the item it is highly unlikely that you could make a profit, but it is useful for when you are left with a new generation and, as a result, no Gotchi points(depending on your version of Music Star, some leave half your money when starting a new generation, some leave no money) to buy food with.
